  • Gaviota Blogpost Invitation

In honor of the Gaviota Coast and the artists who showcase the beauty, GCC would like to post one SCAPE artist story a month on the GCC website.  Dough Kern, GCC Executive Director, will select the stories to be posted on the website and/or in their newsletter.

Blogposts Guidelines:

-300 to 1,000 words to tell a story of the artist's experience painting on the Gaviota Coast.

-3 Photos of artist's Gaviota art must accompany your story and be submitted in high resolution.

-Contact information may be included for potential buyers.

-Paintings sold through GCC media platforms (website or newsletter) require the artist to send 40% of the sales to the Gaviota Coast Conservancy and 10% to SCAPE.

GCC will note the sales percentage on the website and will also include a link to the SCAPE website. If there are any questions prior to sending a blog, contact Cheryl Fontana, or 805-563-1214.

SCAPE thanks GCC for offering this opportunity of our artists to share their experience while painting on the Gaviota Coast.

The Gaviota Coast Conservancy is dedicated to protecting the rural character and environmental integrity of the Gaviota Coast for present and future generations.
