Website Privacy Policy

Introduction:

SCAPE is a non-profit 501(c)6 organization created by artists around the desire to paint and exhibit together with respect for the landscape and the environment. The activities and membership functions are coordinated by SCAPE member volunteers.

SCAPE membership and event information is maintained on SCAPE’s website. https://scape.wildapricot.org/

The website is hosted by Wild Apricot, which belongs to Personify, LLC. The online membership payments via Wild Apricot are processed through the AffiniPay company.

 

Privacy and Use of Member Information:

Member information is used solely for SCAPE purposes. Neither SCAPE, Wild Apricot, nor Personify rent, lease or sell member information.

SCAPE Board members have access to the member information in order to process memberships, arrange event registrations, send newsletters and announcements. The website details who received the newsletters and announcements, which helps ensure that all members are informed.

Members have control over their personal information entered into their Personal Profiles. While SCAPE does require names, the rest of the information is optional. However, it is advisable to enter an email in order to receive newsletters, announcements and event registrations.

Additionally, members may limit what personal information, if any, is displayed in the website Member Directory. For example, a member may want her/his name and personal art website address to be visible to either the public at large or to SCAPE members only, while another member may choose to have no information shown in the Member Directory.

 

Opting Out and Canceling Membership:

SCAPE members have the opportunity to unsubscribe from the newsletter by clicking on Unsubscribe in the footer of the newsletter or by contacting a SCAPE website administrator.

Members may cancel membership by contacting the SCAPE Membership Chair who will permanently delete the individual’s Personal Profile. Communication from SCAPE will cease. SCAPE also deletes Personal Profiles for those members who have passed away, once SCAPE learns of such events.
